  1. Hello everyone! I have recently fallen in love with the Parker-Eversharp 10,000 Word Pen, which I think is so odd-looking it's beautiful -- it's like the Edsel of pens! At any rate, I wondered if the claim was true, and how to test it. I obtained some original cartridges, and then was so excited at the fact that I could buy some of the original Quink with Solv-X. The chemist in me is still fascinated by what Solv-X could actually be. I have one pen that came to me with cartridge attached and still with fluid, useable ink. It's just incredible to me that a product like ink could last so many
  2. We don't have sunlight these days, so I scanned the cards. The pc I'm using is very old and can't handle Photoshop so you'll have to imagine the colors a bit more saturated. This is the first card I wrote this year. It was a prototype, a poorly-made one, but when I said I'd throw it away and start over, my mother threatened me, saying she wasn't going to let me have Christmas pastries. The second card is for Christmas Eve. I found the font in the Youtube video titled "minimalist bullet journal December 2017." This is part of the Christmas card for my big sister. I found the font on Pin
  3. Happy Holidays everyone! Here's the link to my December newsletter update.
  4. Wife gifted the Bexley Owner's Club 2017 pen (left) in Lapis to me, while my mother in law got me the the other 2, Bexley Poseidon Magnum in Cream and Purple (middle) and the Blue Bamboo Walking Stick (right). Both in medium nib sizes, my favorite. In the Lapis, I'm running Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue, thanks to an ink exchange with FPN member richofthetower. The Creme and Purple is running J. Herbin Violette Pensee ink cartridge and the Blue Bamboo is running J. Herbin Vert Pre ink cartridge. I also got gifted some Rhodia pads and J. Herbin ink cartridges - Vert Pre, Orange Indie

    Best. Gift. Ever.

Disclaimer A: This is most likely the wrong section. Moderators, if you feel this belongs in chatter please move it! Disclaimer B: This is most likely going to sound like pure meaningless gushing. Sorry. As a high school student, I am definitely in the minority of pen type. Luckily, my friends tolerate my fountain pen obsession (it entertains them). I've even tried to convert a couple of them to fountain pens (to no avail). Today, a day before Christmas break, we were exchanging our Christmas gifts with each other. My girlfriend presented me with a small, heavy box. I was thoroughly

    Friendly, But Not Feminine Purple

I am looking for a nice, formal and warm purple. A purple that is composed, but at the same time personal. I don't want something that pops out and is hard to read. Maybe something on a darker side, but nothing bright or light. Shading is not really necessary. I will be using Goulet Sampling (no affiliation). Thanks for the recommendations!!!!! And Merry Christmas!!!!
