    Waterford pen assembly mystery

I have been challenged by my son-in-law to re-assemble his silver Waterford fountain pen, but I am stumped. This is an estate sale find that has worked for a while however after disassembly for cleaning, it does not seem to want to go back together. I am wondering if there is a part that has been lost (a sleeve?) or a glue requirement to hold it together? The nib and feed assembly fit somewhat loosely into the metal section, but there seems nothing to hold it all together. It seems like it would require glue to hold the feed assembly inside the section AND glue to hold the threaded collar that holds the converter and that screws into the barrel. Could it be that there was glue that simply dissolved, or wasn't noticed when the pen was disassembled? Waterford fountain pens are still a brand being sold, although apparently not connected to the Waterford crystal brand anymore. Does anyone have experience with this pen design?
  2. Hi Everyone, I always use fpnibs.com as my source for JoWo nibs which they custom grind to whatever I want, but they don't offer Bock nibs. Is there anyone out that that not only sells Bock nibs but will also custom grind them for you? Thanks!
  3. Hi all! I've just joined the forum, as I'm looking for help with a vintage Cross ballpoint (classic century?) such a Beautiful pen and I fear I've ruined it... Was trying to get the refill out (I know I know, read the instructions) and somehow unscrewed the refill *holder* instead of just the refill. The spring and 2 little washers came out as well. For the life of me, it won't all go back in! It's like the refill holder is too big. . Is this how it stays in..? Friction? And once it is out, can it ever be put back? I am beyond annoyed with myself.

    Putting Back Eco Feed

Hi guys, quick question to be 100% sure: TWSBI eco: putting back the friction fit nib and feed: does it fit in every position / angle or is there only one slot where it will fit? After ruining a Lamy I want to be 100% sure this time... I have tried to search the internet and the forum but I couldn't find a satisfying answer. Please excuse me if I have overlooked the obvious...
