Perhaps I've just overlooked it, but I haven't seen any mention of this rare edition in the Heritage Rouge et Noir series:

Horrible (IMO). It makes me think of me the Montegrappa Chaos.

Awful. The forked tongue coming out of the clip looks like a last-minute afterthought.

In fact, the whole thing looks awkward and clumsy. I wouldn't be surprised to see this sort of stuff on a cheap market stall.

 

However, another thread mentions that they look much better 'in the flesh', than in photographs.

 

Thankfully, well beyond my budget.

I do recall seeing this pen somewhere, either on the forum or on a dealer's site? Glossed over it as it kind of looked like a gaudy Chinese pen... I liked the homage to the vintage MBs with the RetN, but I don't know what to make of this one. Montegrappa-lite, maybe?

The rubies in the nib remind me of a Paul Simon song from the Graceland album.

Although it looks like a pen and could function as a pen I don't believe this it is meant to be used. It looks as uncomfortable as can be.

Well, I wouldn't mind to have one of these pens. But I wouldn't pay so much money for it.

And yes, this is definitely a pen which is one of the results of the engagement of Montblanc at Montegrappa. After suction of the know-how how to work with high embossment of precious metal, enamel and celluloid Montblanc sold back Montegrappa to the former owner family and now tries to issue own products by their artisan department.
