I've been using Emerald for 6 months now. Shadow for 1 month. And just got my Demonstrator a couple days ago. I am loving the fountain pen community and everything about pens and ink thus far. The creativity and emotion and personalization that comes from using a fountain pen is absolutely amazing. I am glad there are others out there who feel the way I do!

 

I had to give my first two pens names because they came from a kit, and thus do not have names. My demonstrator is by far my favorite, especially after I learned to open up the ink flow. It used to write slightly scratchy, but now that it's much wetter, it is much more pleasurable to write with.

 

Have a look at my arsenal thus far, I hope to collect many different pens and inks.

Welcome !

 

Shadow seems to shade well, and he, obviously, makes you feel good writing.

 

Only four of my pens have names -- David, Louis, Bell, and Sardy. Can't say

how they came to be so named. I didn't do it.

 

I like Emerald green ink in my demonstrator. It is beautiful with light shining

through the barrel.

 

Write with joy.

      ...random aside - I still have some 30 rolls of unused, long-expired Kodachrome 64 film (35mm). They have been frozen since 2009. No idea why I have held on to them for this long, but I guess I'm hoping for a miracle. I too have never developed colour film but I still d&p my B&W to this day. As a passion, of course.
