Today is 大年初一 , and this is one way to start the Year of the Ox on the wrong note. Australia Post has just, or finally, announced that international Economy Air Letters containing Merchandise service is permanently discontinued, in a very loose interpretation of what constitutes an announcement. Not as a notice, not as an entry in the list of general or notable updates, but as a new FAQ entry sandwiched between piles of older FAQ entries, on its web site where there is no dedicated FAQ page or section. Hello everybody, since I restarted writing letters :-) I wonder how much is postage around the world. When I pull a letter out of my mailbox first I always look who sent it and then I take a look at the stamps, trying to read the date when they were stamped and figure out how much it was. I found some topics about postage here but none was up to date. So you maybe want to join in. For a better understanding, I add the estimated value in US-$. Private Reserve Ink To The Uk And Europe, $4.95 Postage For Any Quantity!

Just wanted to let anyone interested in buying Private Reserve inks about a vendor called pensavings on Ebay. I bought a few bottles of PR ink, and was rather shocked when i came to realise that P&P was $4.95, shipping from USA to the UK. I ended up asking the vendor if this was correct, as I realise how heavy ink bottles are, and that shipping cost are bound to be more. He explained that this was in fact the case, and that he just about broke even with fountain pen inks, but helped with other areas of the business. I subsequently ordered a few more, larger 110ml bottles, which the ve
