Parker '75' 14K G.F. Cap and Barrel (Tiffany pattern) with 14K F nib (smooth). It's a NOS pen. It has never been inked, only dip tested! Made in USA!

This is not a Parker....but still..

Shortly before the end of the year, just as I was about to wrap up my balance sheet, something interesting came my way:

A Parker Duofold imitation, probably from the 1920s, made of red and black hard rubber. The amazing thing is that, with a total length of 146 mm, the fountain pen is significantly larger than the original Duofold Senior (138 mm)!

Here is a size comparison with a Duofold Centennial (136 mm), in the absence of an original from the 1920s.

The fountain pen seems to be in no way inferior to an original. The gold plating is badly worn, but I am familiar with this from genuine Duofolds. Particular attention should be paid to the huge 18-carat nib, which stands out due to its geometry. Nibs like this, with slightly protruding ‘shoulders’, were also used in safety fountain pens.

I am very happy to acquire a Parker 75  FP and BP lacquer series in Thuya edition. First I found the ballpoint which it was made in 1982 and today I found the fountain pen with a 14k F nib, that was made in 1990 which it happens to be the year that I was born, so that's a very nice find. Botha are in very good condition 😊

OOOOOH!  A 21 where the barrel DIDN'T crack!

@cat74 I got one of those recently, but I think mine is possibly a Senior.  Just too pretty to pass up    because  Lapis Blue is GORGEOUS!  Especially when TWO people came running up to me at the thing I was at -- one of whom I don't think I even KNEW -- to tell me that someone on the lower level back deck had pens for sale....  Got that and a grey Snorkel (not sure of what specific model that one is); passed on a little Conklin and IIRC a fourth pen because I didn't know enough about them.

lol...if I could read better I would have also noticed you said barrel rather than section!! Would be a test to crack a flighter barrel!!

I added a beautiful NOS Cisele with black section and F nib. I had one years ago, but it got damaged. I was thrilled to find a replacement and at a great price.

My first 75, a silver Cisele' of course.

Why I waited so long to try this classic I can't answer.  What a beauty.
