Let's See Your Ink Collection Set-Up!

Wow Amberlea!! I really like the stepped shelves, gotta remember to look for those again. Just out of curiosity...it's that *all* the bottled ink you have?

The stepped shelves are spice shelves, but they aren't quite deep enough so I added pen boxes in between to get them to stack better. It takes hours to get them to stack right.

And no, that's not "all" remember that doesn't include the Noodler's or Scribes inks or most of the Robert Osters,

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Not to worry about their containers,

Just slap some packing tape around those boxes, affix MY address on a label & send 'em to me; I have an old walnut, 8 foot tall, bookcase from my Great Grandfather, in which I will be happy to store them properly for you. They will be residing in the living room as the center of attention. Nope, no sir, No way should this be allowed to go on, I just can't stand to think of YOUR inks in "tattered, mismatched, old boxes," SEND 'em on, it's the LEAST I can do for you. AND I would be happy to offer unrestricted visitation, ANYTIME!

YOUR inks deserve NO less than to be together. I don't mind @ all.

ROFL

Migo, I'm happy to hold on to your inks too. :)

Kinda-sorta organized. Inks on bottom shelf are hard to get, retired, or my favs (NB all the bung box inks.) Top is currently available. Also have a drawn full of sealed MB inks, along with some 1670 J Herbins that I don't use in FPs but might use with a dip pen.

That looks awesome!!!

And use those inks! I use my 1670s in FPs with no problem .. though I do use wet writing pens.

I am too fastious about pens to use them in my vintages pens. And I really like how they look when doing calligraphy.

I have this borrowed Karas Kustom though.... Hmmm. Ps I need to send that back to ya!

Looks like you're off to a good start! Love your coffee/tea set and desk. Do you enjoy a cup or coffee or tea while writing? I know I do. :)

Thank you. Yes I do always have either coffee or tea when I'm writing. It goes together :)

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
