My ink bottle has arrived and what better use but to contribute to this thread?

On the other hand I have been learning copperplate script for the past couple of months ( and struggling with it as you can see ) but practice makes perfect.

The ink is just gorgeous and even my wife likes it.

From a poem by Luis de Camoes, a famous Portuguese poet.

Kind regards,

Rui

I love my letter carrier!

"I know I think

The love I have for you
Will never end (well maybe)
And so my love, I offer you
A love that is strong

A prune that is true."

My ink has shipped. I'm guessing it'll be here in about 5 to 10 days.

My ink has shipped. I'm guessing it'll be here in about . . . halfway to FOREVER! I guess that is the price I pay for the price I paid. I went with the $23 no shipping fee option. Mt status is "Shipped" with the following message:

DELIVERY ESTIMATE: WEDNESDAY, JULY 31, 2013 - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2013 BY 8:00PM

In the meantime I have a sample I received from Liamtyr to get me through. I shall start a romantic letter soon. :)

My ink shipped and it will be just a couple of days shipping as I ordered from the evil empire themselves as opposed to some out-of-country side store. First thing I'm going to do it bathe in YB.

Please take a photo of the grape-y aftermath and show it to us here. Don't forget to wash your hair with it as well.

At the very worst I'll become Giuseppe with an offer of freshly made whine.

Beautiful. You've captured the true essence of the YB Club.

Thanks. My wife liked it, too.

Baby's bathtime fun. Notice how the YB took over the prime shampoo spot from the much revered Yarok.

Guess who E.B.B. is!

I believe the ink is Shah's Rose.

A lovely letter that would have been a sure prize winner had it mentioned blood.

Bloody hell! :P

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
