  1. If anyone wants a large bottle of red Super Quink with Solv-X, there's one for sale in The Junk Shop in Greenwich. They also have a half-bottle of (I think) permanent blue-black, and a few large bottles of Swan ink with very little ink in. If it's still there in a week or so I might be compelled to buy it myself Super Quink by Robin Inkysloth, on Flickr
  2. Just got hold of several old bottles of Parker Super Quink Blue ink that came in cheap looking, black plastic bottles that look nothing like Parker Quink ink -or any other ink for that matter! They were manufactured in Parker's plant in Mexico sometime in the 1980's and they differ from their American counterparts in that there's no mention of Solv-X in them -which from what I've read, these inks had- and it only states the ink as permanent. Upon opening the first bottle I found that evaporation took the better half off it and that it has a chemical aroma that is not present on any other i
  3. I stopped into a local thrift store a few times over the last week and picked up some nice ink. The Parker Super Quink Permanent Turquoise came new in the box in the Blue Diamond bottle and just cost me $1 on Friday. I picked up the rest of it all today for $11 and all are full bottles. Included were Parker Penman Ebony, Waterman Blue Black and Havana, and a bottle each of Mont Blanc Blue and Black. Nice finds and no repeats at a good price. No pen finds this time and the only regret was that the Parker Penman ink wasn't Sapphire Blue. It's the same shop where I found my Parker T1 and 51 pens
