In the booklet shown in the Ebay advertisement, I noticed a #35. Is that for historical interest and context or is this a re-issue? I have an original and it's one of my favorite pens: flexible nib, classic and restrained styling, reasonable ink capacity, too!

Probably, the 're-issue' is limited to the picture 😜

I see!

I don't dislike the cigar shape, but much prefer a flat top. But, of course, I would love even more a marbled resin, in any shape.

I, unfortunately, have not been able to restrict my collecting to just one brand (or period).

Even though I started collecting in 2015, I believe I acquired my first MB in 2018 or so, and now I must have around 25 of them (but, they are just 5-6% of my collection, I'm somewhat ashamed to say). From time to time I do toy around with the idea of decreasing the collection and focusing on some higher end pens, though. But it seems that for each pen I sell, I buy two to celebrate! 🤦‍♂️

Totally agree with you about the marble resin. Wonderful collection anyway! Congratulations!

I really do like the green.

That's my choice if buying any of them.

I wonder if the green simply won't be coming in a larger size

Apparently, now it is just for the Classique since Le Grand is in blue.

I'm glad that I prefer the LeGrand size more than the 149 size.

Yes, something like this would be a huge hit!

Gray with Platinum trim or Green with Gold trim or Brown with Rose Gold trim. That's how I would pair them. I would buy all three. So would many others buy at least one of those. Let's see if they're smart enough to do this.

Please take my money!

Does anyone have any idea of the pricing of these editions

I paid $1,660 US for the Doue LeGrand Navy and Platinum and $1,226 US for the Resin 149 Black and Platinum (in Canadian funds).

I wonder if the supply will meet the demand since I’m assuming it will be a limited production.  Also what the timing will be for the next releases in the collection.

FYI: From The Origin Collection catalogue:

“The clip featured in the collection is an homage to the many different clip versions that existed during the 1920s. The Doué and Solitaire editions feature a pattern from an early design study that was never officially launched. The three colours chosen for the design of the editions is inspired by one of the earliest testaments of the colours used on a Meisterstück.”

Expected delivery to a Canadian boutique will be in April … no updates yet.  They also couldn’t guarantee that they could fill my pre-release order in the first shipment.  When I receive them I’ll post.

But where did you buy it? Since they don't seem to be available anywhere.

In Lisbon, they are already available in the boutiques.

Oh, wow!

Well, I live in the middle of nowhere and the closest boutique is about 1000 miles away!

So, I'll have to wait for it to show up online - the problem is that buying online it is a hassle to change the nib, since I have to buy a medium and then send it in (I'm thinking a BB).

Does anyone know if authorized dealers (not boutiques) will also carry those?

(they didn't carry the Orient Express).

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
