@Jamerelbe the Diwali colourway is gorgeous! I have a pen by a different brand in the same acrylic and it's especially pretty looking at it under sunlight. You'll see what I mean when it arrives!

 

I'm surprised that Ranga is not promoting their new nibs more, especially their flex nib, which neither of the German options offer. Great to know about the Jowo/Ranga screw-in unit compatibility as that really sells it to me! Most of the Ranga pens I ordered have been with a Jowo nib (and the dual-tone ones, too, before they discontinued it!). Will come in handy for nib swaps! Think the only non-Jowo one (apart from my most recent order) is the first Ranga I ever got, for which I went with the eye-dropper.

 

Also interesting to note that the Ranga nib comes with a plastic feed since most of the Indian-made pens I have came with an ebonite feed, bar the ones with German nibs. While I have read about the advantages of ebonite feeds in terms of being able to heat set it to the nib, I've never tried it before/never needed to.

My pen arrived! It's gorgeous. I flushed out the body to remove the acrylic dust and ran a bit of detergent water through the  nib/converter. The Ranga flex nib performs well. Thankyou Ranga for such a nice pen, so quickly delivered!

Mine also arrived today - Diwali finish, with a duotone flex nib.  Don't know if these photos do it justice, but... it's a beautiful acrylic, and a fantastic pen to hold!  Haven't inked it up yet, but will be rectifying that ASAP...

I have 4 Rangas, all of which are a delight.  It would be so easy to really splurge on these pens, they're such good value!
