Talking of a hundred thousand, how about this (which I really wanted to post as my latest purchase; but that would be just wrong -- so wrong!):

I would have started a new thread; but it seems to fit in nicely after the comment above by mosh_2k7.

I’ve seen that one before. Doesn’t do anything for me. It’s a 146 size pen. Doesn’t look anything special. I can get Montblanc to make me a 1/1 for less than that. Lol

Started a new topic with pics.

No, nib will not be changed because it is special nib and only available in F or M. Maybe tuning to italic.

yes, Samuel from Style mentioned in a video that a nib exchange is possible

@ak47 @Michael R. Thank you, glad to know exchange is possible. But I decided not to take this option, I have already the “ exotic “ nib sizes and I ink them seldom, I prefer the vintage flex and semi flex nibs for line variation.

Right. With exotic do you mean oblique nibs?

Yes, obliques and BB. It always take some pages of writing to get used to them again and they have a very restricted sweetspot.

Out of curiosity, what would your 1/1 look like? How much would they charge?

Top 5 (in no particular order) of 25 currently inked pens:

Parker Duofold Centennial IM, RO Rose Gold Antiqua

MontBlanc Bohème Noir F, MB Midnight Blue

Pelikan M800 needlepoint, Kuretake Shikon

MontBlanc Noblesse M, KWZ Sheen Machine 2

Wahl-Eversharp Bantam F, FC Lapis Lazuli

It would at least be a 149 with a bespoke nib, not a regular nib like this specimen. Black carbon with grafene coating and minimalistic black ruthenium trim probably.

That sounds really sleek, reminds me of a sports car. I would like a dainty 144 in an Antarctic Ocean blue, with a penguin nib, a Solitaire cap with penguin themed chasing, and a little sapphire in the penguin’s eye.

What would the price be?  How much less?

That sounds like a really cute pen! Wouldn't it be fantastic if pen companies started throwing pen design competitions . . . There could be a wealth of very individual angles and preferences they might embrace taking up.

Less than 10.000 euro:

- bespoke nib F superflex with ling tines 4000 euro

- carbon rods 1 meter at 200 euro

- ruthenium trim at 65 euro pro gram

- grafene coating 250 euro

Solid decision not to incorporate the 18 carat gold, diamonds, and sapphires.  Hope you’re  going forward with the project, would love to see it.  And a writing sample, as super flex is far beyond my skill level.

The nib alone makes me want one.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
