Indeed! It's up to 21 pens now...might be time to capture the whole family together again!

Only 21 ?.......

Maybe you should wait until you get a few more...... :)

Actually, an update now would be good!

I'm going to have to order a Sorrento when i rebuild my pen budget again.

I think the Sorrento Blue is my pick of the most recent materials. Good color, depth, and variety of bright and dull. The Iride blue/green is also very nice. I think compared to them, the violet looks kind of one-note, but I haven't seen it in person yet.

Just picked up the Sorrento Blue at the Baltimore show from Dromgooles and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Seeing it in real life, I am convinced Leonardo could do an acrylic Impero if they really wanted to but have clearly chosen to go their own way.

I will try to get a picture tomorrow with them side by side so you can decide for yourself.

Sorry for being off-topic, but which pen case is this?

It is a custom 3 pen case by Michael Young in England. His username is MY63 here on FPN. It holds 3 large pens (around Namiki emperor size) and I could probably stand on it without issue.

Nice setting Zaddick! could you show the under side of that stub? thanks

I'll see if I can find the pen easily. It is just an untapped Jowo steel stub but it writes nicely. Between the stock 1.1 and 1.5 widths.

  • 3 weeks later...

Got a little something to help pass the time today. Stuck at home, but the post office is still delivering! This is one that I didn't even know about until recently. It's the Momento Zero Delfino LE for Goldspot. The resin looks very similar to the resin used on Casa della Stilografica's Flame and Bamboo LEs, but in a different color. It's a very nice, bright blue with some streaks of white. Unlike the similar Blue Positano, this one has some transparency to the resin, which gives it some really nice depth. There's a cool little Dolphin logo on the reverse side of the cap. It's a nice touch.

I haven't inked it up yet, but I'm sure it will be a great writer!

Hahahaha I have two more en route...one of which is probably going to take a while, as it's coming from Italy. When I get those two, I'll update that family portrait!

I’m going to be able to join this thread soon. I ordered a returned Leonardo Momento from Pen Chalet. It has a stub nib, and I couldn’t resist. Plus I had a coupon code that took another 10% off the already 35% off returned pen.

It is the Blue Hawaii color. It was inked before the person returned it. The box and papers are with it.

I had earned a free bottle of ink through the Ink Drop rewards program. I chose Robert Oster Caffe Crema because I own a Pelikan Cafe Creme.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
