Yesterday Brad and I spoke for a bit

We like most folks today are concerned of the pandemic maintain out social distancing

He has resumed repairs on a limited basis. He offered some help on a recent ly acquired Safety pen

He told me of he being able to reacquire an early 51 , which he had parted with too soon

I believe we can all relate to having done that a time or two.. i guess it is similar to Post Partem Depression.

Having it again is like the return of a lost pet.

Stay safe and well

Hope Brad will completely recover soon.

In fact his stunning work triggered me to start making fountain pens.

Brad was - and remains - a true master and example for me.

Wow! This is quite the compliment!!

Francis, as many of us realize, is THE master of all the masters. The best of the best! No one else comes close.........

Someone should make Brad aware of his post. I'm sure he would love to see it!! And, maybe further hasten his recovery.

Almost 2 years since I sent in 2 nice vintage pens to Mr. Torelli.

I've tried sending numerous emails but he seems to have stopped responding :(

Brad was quite sick last year. He is better now but not back in the full swing of things as far as I know. Still, I'd imagine he is checking emails again. Have you tried recently?

Mr Torelli is still responsive via email, at least on my end. However, he has "currently stopped taking orders due to health issues". I hope that he gets better soon.

Hope has been well with you. I recently received a few pens back from Brad (they only had a 1.5 year stint with him), and I hope yours are home too. Its easier to reach him via telephone than email.

I apologize for the indelicate nature of such an inquiry, but I, too, am wondering if there has been any new news with Brad. I am a longtime lurker, and have learned much from the pages of this forum. Brad has done fine work with a few of my MBs over the past few years, always with a very reasonable turnaround time, but since he accepted my most recent repair, I haven't heard anything. I surely hope all is well. I'm not sure there is a single other person in stateside who knows as much about Montblancs, among other topics, as he.

For whatever it’s worth, at the suggestion of another user, I decided to give Brad another call. It had been weeks since I’d last called him, not wanting to disturb. Well, he actually picked up, and mentioned that he is working on a large custom order of pens and will be getting to my latest repair shortly. He is well and quite busy. Now, if we could only clone him!

Communication has never been Brad's strong suit, but his work is first class.  I think he had a couple of my MB's for 10 months once.  Then, I got a call, and here came the pens, finally in excellent working order. :)

So many hobbies, so little time....

Has anyone heard from Brad Torelli recently? I have four vintage Montblancs with him since September, but have been able to get through to him since late December (I have tried email and phone). I know he is typically very responsive and his voicemail is now full as well. Hopefully everything is all right.

His phone number is: 203-464-7333

This is great news. Glad he is well. He is a great guy and first class restorer.
