I don't think the regular releases have the barrel imprint. Only this special silver cap edition.

You're so quick! After searching all over Taobao I had changed my post haha. I agree, the imprint seems to be something unique to this model.

They sure have raised the bar with that special edition. A lot.

I wonder how it was received in the Chinese market.

I have two of the hooded version and I like them so much I have to get a conical-nib model as well.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

So this did go on sale. @US$150

Don't know how many they made, but it appears there's just one in stock.

Anyone get one?

What makes an unusual P51 worth $150 or more?

A mixture of rarity & demand. Same applies here.

If it was all based on usefulness, there'd be no pens costing over $20.

If based on build quality, two of the four 'Luxury' pens I have would be cheaper than my Wing Sung 601's.

Regards,

Richard.

Yes. Gold nib, silver cap, numbered & dated, wood box. It's a commemorative release.

Have any reviews for this LE come out yet? Well, I guess it doesn't really matter since none of us will be able to buy one. :crybaby:

art-pen-book-dy on eBay. I've bought from them multiple times and they're always trustworthy.

I don't know how trustworthy someone who does bait-and-switch with their postings might be.

Right this minute, they have a "KACO EDGE Brushed Black Metal Fountain Pen" that's 'on sale' for $6.11. However, if you go into the item, their "sale" is on a standard converter. He wants _six dollars_ for a single cheap converter. The cheapest _pen_ is $11.14, which is a decent price, but still not what he's listing for the price.

I see this constantly, mostly from Chinese sellers. I don't know if lying is just part of their normal culture, or what.

Yes, I still buy from some of them, but many of them are basically "Never going to buy from you" based on the descriptions. (Like the ones that keep claiming they sell Real PU Leather! ... Uhhh.. No, either it's real leather, or it's PU, aka Naugahyde.
