Excellent work, like the execution and the details. I prefer to keep my pens in the original box when not in use and switch them around to my liking.

I was tired of having my pens in different boxes all over the house. So dedicde to convert an unused drawer on my desk. image.jpeg

I found GoPens through FPN and ordered two tan trays (2nd one was in case I messed up) www.gopens.com/Vintage_Pen_Parts/vintage_pens_12X16Trays.php

Placed the drawer upside down and traced around it. image.jpeg

After cutting, it perfectly fit 18 slots for pens. image.jpeg

I did not want the tray all the way at the bottom of the drawer so I decided to cut some 2 inch foam I had. image.jpeg

The foam made a nice tight fit in the drawer and then placed the tray on top. Raising the tray perfectly. image.jpeg

Now it was time to load the display drawer with pens. image.jpeg

I added these small felt bumper so the pens will not bump against the drawer. image.jpeg image.jpeg

Great idea. I have an empty desk drawer as well. I might try the same thing. Also great idea with the adhesive scratchers to protect the pens.

Lol, you remembered. Yes, she got me the 149 and she surprised me with it on Father’s Day that year. I had MB do the nib switched to OBB and it makes me happy every time I use it.

The inserts are great. No issue with them at all.

Finally added a Black 146 and Bordeaux 146 next to my 147 & 149. The drawer is now complete.
