Have you tried looking up past Bonhams auction results?

I think the FP would be around $2k to $2.5k. Not sure about the ballpoint.

Thanks for the reply. The fountain pen has sold for several different prices in the past. But I don't know the current price. I had one in the past, but it was in poor used condition. So I sold it.

The ballpoint pen. I can't find any info on the price. The one that was listed on Bonhams went unsold. The reserve was between $7,500 to $10,000

Thanks

Hello Moshin,

I take it that this sale is in the USA ? If so be VERY wary about all the incurred taxes/handling fees/import duties that are involved when it comes over to you in the UK mate. It does all add up and in my experience the 'bargain' soon becomes just a market value item.

Hi Ian

Actually I know someone in the UK who has one of the two pens mentioned above. I'm just trying to find out the price that I would expect to pay for each of the pens.

Finding past sales of the 75th 116 solid gold ballpoint pen is proving to be very difficult.

It might be cheaper to fly over and pick it up in person :-)
