Hello!

I would like to enter for the cultpens pen as it is not available here down under. Plus, I would love to try the 2B nib (So far I only have F and M nibs over four pens :P )

Thank you!
and also thanks for the generous PIF! :)

Bump - only a few hours left for you to enter yourself for one of the pens.

Reminder: entries close end of the day on Monday. I hope to do the draw sometime on Tuesday, though work pressure may result in a slightly later draw. I'll announce the winners on this thread.

The PiF is now closed. There were 20 entrants for the Prera; 11 for the CultPens; and 18 for the Kaweco.

And the winners are...

Pilot Prera: Pactagon

Cult Pens: jabberwock11

Kaweco Sport: moonejon

Commiserations to those who missed out.

Winners. Congratulations! Please contact me via PM with a postal address. I shall assume you want the free standard postage unless you tell me otherwise via PM. I'll try to post them off this week, but it may have be next week before I can make it to the post office. I'll let you know once your pen is on its way to you.

Edited to add

@ Four X Four: I liked your comment, so promised you your own special draw for a Kaweco mini-converter, to be decided by coin-toss (my response, #54). As you didn't get back to me, I chose Heads on your behalf. Alas, Tails came up...

I popped in to see who won, and had to blink a few times before shouting: "Holy (bleep), I won!" I really didn't expect that at all.

I really appreciate this PIF and look forward to using the pen. Congrats to those folks who won the other pens.

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      >Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color,<   I'm sure they were, and my answer assumes that. It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
