Passion Red - Diamine

Manufacturers since 1864, Diamine Inks relocated to this purpose built 'state of the art' factory in Liverpool in 1925, where they successfully carried on using the traditional methods and formulas for ink production. Over the years the company has changed hands and are now located close to the world famous Aintree Race Course

Passion Red isn't most saturated red from Diamine lineup but it's really "wet" and I enjoy this subtle shade. The ink flows very well and the writing experience is pleasant. Good stuff.

I purchased some cartridges of this ink awhile back and was very disappointed with the pinkish hue. It does offer a bit of shading and the flow is good if you enjoy such colors.

Thank you for the review. I also see a pinkish hue. Almost like a strawberry shade of red. I quite like it, but I do have lots of red ink

I tried this a couple of years ago, based on another review. But discovered that it was way too pink a red even for me. I gave the bottle away, but at least it was one of the small 30 ml bottles.

If I want a pink leaning read, I'll stick to De Atramentis Dante Alighieri/Ruby Red, or Edelstein Star Ruby. And if I want something permanent, there's always Noodler's Park Red (which only leans a little pink and seems to be completely waterproof).

But thanks for the review.
