Love You - Montblanc Le Ink

Montblanc knows reallly well how to make people pay them :) They offer intriguing LE pens and inks on regular basis. When they're gone, they're gone for good.

They tend to emerge on eBay with crazy price tag, though.

Love You is 2008 LE ink. Nice, saturated red, that I enjoy a lot.

Thanks for another great review. I've never heard of this ink. It looks certainly saturated, which I like in my inks. I'm sure it would have been very popular but I'm not fan of red ink, except for Rouge Hermatite.

Yes, I see this on e-bay with crazy price tag on it. I think its not worth that price, seems a simple red, I see Diamine Red Dragon to be an even better looking ink.

I am in love with ReD, in love with red ink. Really appreciate and like your review. Went on the 'Bay to see what the price would be for some of it. I'll leave you with this image... :yikes: :lticaptd: :yikes: :lticaptd:

P.S. I'll bookmark your review though, some other reds you mention in color swatches are more interesting to me.

Hey visvamitra. I'm curious. How do you make all those comparison swatches? Do you have that many pens of the same color inked at once? Do you dip your pens into them just for the swatch? Are they individual for each review, then combined on the computer?

@Musicman123 - no, every time I make review of an ink, I make also scribbles with it as well as Write a line in calendar and Oxford notebook. So I don't repeat them all the time. Most of them are scanned so that I can change scribbles order in PS.

I wish I had done it before. It's time efficient. And it takes just a while to add new ink to color gropus on three sheats of paper :)

PS: reds are difficult to scan though. My scanner, even though I've calibrated it with some profile makes most reds too pink :/

Gasp! How simple! So your scribbles are all digitally combined when you need them basically. I should consider doing that!

I am on The RED Search as we speak.

I've liked Parker Quink Red, Nakita and just tried the Love. It's a nice red but dried a hair faded for me. I want something that dries

with more Punch.

I have some Diamine Poppy enroute to me. That looks like it could be a contendah. (The FPNer who sent me the Poppy is getting

my Love.)

I bought a bottle or two of this when it was available. It is a good red. For my purposes, I prefer the new Mont Blanc Corn Poppy Red or MB Hitchcock Red—I stocked up on it when it was available.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.
