Manufacturers since 1864, Diamine Inks relocated to this purpose built 'state of the art' factory in Liverpool in 1925, where they successfully carried on using the traditional methods and formulas for ink production. Over the years the company has changed hands and are now located close to the world famous Aintree Race Course

As I've mentioned few times I have mixed feelings about Diamine inks, however I tend to use them from time to time. They have some amazing colors. Last year Diamine inks introduced their 150th anniversary inks in triangle bottles:

Silver Fox is quite nice.

This ink has the kind of severe shading that most people love but I find difficult to read. It is a bit cold, too. I prefer a warmer grey.

I too find this a bit cold, plus I've recently got the Mont Blanc Albert Einstein and the J Herbin Stormy Grey, so now I'm all greyed out... the 150th Anniv terracotta is tempting me but I'm baulking at the cost, 19p per ml against the regular Diamine 7p per ml, a huge increase, just for a fancy slice of pie?

Can't say this appeals to me either. Like Jason and Droffats I find this a bit cold. Not really that distinctive. Good point re the unit price too.

I do like this ink very much... I am not a big lover of greys... but there are a few that I find quite enchanting.. This is one of them... maybe more useful for drawings... but enchanting none the less.

I don't normally consider grey inks at all but this one has my attention; not just for its water resistance, along with Safari and Terracotta from the same series.

If I did want an ink of this shade and depth, this would be the one.
