Do Diamine produce large bottles of ink? I know Noodler''s did in the past, up to a gallon on special request; just wondered if diamine were able to do the same...

Never seen larger bottles in recent times.

I am curious to know though.....

Which Diamine inks do you love so much that you want 250ml+ of?

To be honest, I'm a great fan of diamine and Noodler's but I don't think I'd every get through a gallon of any ink! Having said that, i do sometimes have to refill my M800 twice in one shift at work! I just came across a video by Goulet pens on huge bottles of Noodler's that we're until recently available by special order. They have since, become unavailable. I just wondered if other manufacturers would be interested in entertaining the "brag factor" appeal they might hold..

Sorry, but I don't see the point in any 'brag factor' for ink manufacturers. Especially the superlative Diamine who can obviously keep well above the market place levels, with their wonderful colour range and extremely competitive pricing structure - across the world.

Large bottles? The best use for them is for party-sized Twisted Spire.

I get through black Quink enough that a 500ml bottle would be tempting. Other than that, maybe a 250ml bottle of a nice red & a blue would be good.

Contact them direct to find out.

I've bought my dad a couple of Diamine bottles in the past, and from memory, their main inks were 80ml and 30 ml. The only larger bottle I found was the 100ml refill bottle of Registrar's Ink.

They may do custom orders, as they supply 500ml bottles of endorsing ink. With them being Scousers, they should be quite affable.

I love this idea in theory. Grape and Deep Dark Blue would be at the top of that list. But in practice, I haven't even made it through a 60 mL bottle of Sailor ink, nevermind a 160 mL bottle of Akkerman. So 250 mL is probably out of my reach. :P

They did. I bought one 250ml Imperial Purple ink bottle and another 250ml Registrar´s ink bottle a few years ago. I wrote an email to Diamine recently about buying more but didn't get any reply, so maybe they don't do it anymore.

I got an email from Diamine stating that 1L bottles are indeed available for £45 + VAT, which for us folks on the great isle means £54 with an additional £8.95 for posting and packing. All in all that's around £5.04 per 80ml bottle equivalent. Given that you can buy a few bottles and get free postage with many retailer here doesn't really seem worth it.

Hi,

I think it's good that Diamine offers the 1L bottles. I think it's still economical if you purchase a lot, at least for me since I usually keep a lot of ink around. I use a lot of fine nibs though, so I don't go through ink as quickly as some people like Ghostplane. I might still consider getting a few 1L bottles of some colors though.

Keep 5 3B and OBB Pels inked in the course of a 80-90k word manuscript churning 2-5k USABLE words daily & you, too, can get through copious quantities of ink. And paper.

Yet I find myself swapping colors on a regular basis so I can see visible progress on the page. So running through the Goulet offerings according to whim works as well.

Wow, the biggest nib I have is a KB, and I only have one. I'm not even close. How do the Montblancs you have compare to the Pelikans broad nib-wise?
