The earliest orders are on their way (with an exception who has been contacted). I'm feeling like a proud poppa who just sent his brood off into the world! I hope that the recipients will enjoy writing in these books as much as I do.

I got mine today. In one word - amazing. My first thought was "Man-oh-man, must order more!"

 

Looks much better than any of the pictures on the web site. It's beautifully bound and looks very durable.

Fast, beautifully packed & gorgeous! I have a new gold standard for bound journals. (Happy dance)

 

Like the discrete stamp of the website in the back in case I'm on a new computer & need to reorder.

 

Truly awesome. I have the sudden urge to have adventures to document.

Very happy with this. It's narrower than I thought it would be for some reason - what I get for not paying close attention - but I really like this size. I've never had one this skinny. Nice. :)

My package arrived today too. I completely agree that the journal looks great. And the paper ... I had such fun just rubbing the corner of one of the pages. Thankfully I am near the end of my current journal as I can't wait to start using this new one. Kudos on launching a fine new product.

Thank you for offering the TR paper in the various forms. Order placed for some loose A4 and a few journals. Now all I need to do is await the parcel.

Got mine yesterday---wonderfully packaged as well. I like how you folded the paper wrapping the notebooks so that they looked like big envelopes.

 

The paper is truly amazing---and I'm saying this before I've even started to write in it. The thinness, texture, color, smell, etc....all very much to my expectations. (I'm forcing myself to finish the last 20 pages of my journal before breaking in a new one, or else I may never turn back!)

 

If you ever start making these in 8.5 X 11 sizes...well, I'll be the first to jump in! =D

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

      Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

      Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
