InvisibleMan
I've made my first entry! I'm using mine to journal/document pen builds. This is my first experience with Tomoe River paper, and I'm sold. Nice little book. I'm sure I'll be returning for more. http://www.pensbylyleross.com/uploads/1/2/6/0/12608908/2314615_orig.jpg

Jadie
heheh. I wrote about the first day of class in my book. I was mentally giggling over how much Seiboku shades and sheens in my first entry... XD And then I attacked with the rest of my pen & ink combos. They were all thoroughly tamed by Tomoe River. Wow, what a paper. Sheen junkie, flex nib enthusiast, and all-around lover of fountain pens...
SmoovD
Add me to the growing list of those impressed by the TR paper and the service provided by Jay. Package arrived promptly and safely. The books appear to be well-constructed and the paper is excellent. Well done.

sumgaikid
Have seriously considered getting one,but can't afford to do so right now--maybe in the future. John Irony is not lost on INFJ's--in fact, they revel in it.
egretsrus
Got my gorgeous journal yesterday and am in love! I'm using a college-ruled template behind the page so my writing doesn't wander over hill and dale. Well worth the price!!!! My life is full of mistakes. They're like pebbles that make a good road. WOBentley
Mine arrived while I was away for a few days...Let me say that the one thing I did not need was another Journal, however I am thrilled I got these. Soooo nice and especially good at this price point. To be fair they are not as nice as the truly exquisite Design Y journals...the pages are slightly more narrow, though the same height. The exterior material is a nice functional cloth, not the soft supple leather of the design Y, but the price is no where as "exquisite" either! I will absolutely be obtaining more of these as the need arises! The Design Y is a wonderful luxury, these are a true treat! I am very happy indeed! WOBentley
How do the groovy Design Y notebooks compare in price?Well, like I said the prices are "exquisite"...as in expensive...mine was around $150, I think they range from just under $100 to about $150ish...You can google them to find the site. They are truly wonderful...but I will be buying these from Jay going forward. These are really wonderful and reasonably priced so I can use them daily. bleair
Can someone comment (or take a snapshot) of how much ghosting there is? I'm wondering if the thinness of the paper basically means you write on one side only. They sound like fantastic notebooks
watch_art
no pics right now from me - but ghosting is MINIMAL. here's Sam's review... https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/219574-in-paper-heaven-%E5%AE%8C%E5%85%A8/ https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/223720-thin-paper-comparison-50-60-70gsm/?p=2382193 http://www.penturners.org/forum/signaturepics/sigpic14481_1.gif http://mob984.photobucket.com/albums/ae327/VintagePen/vanness.jpg?t=1321916122

MisterBoll
Most of the time you'd have no idea what you were writing or what you wrote Which would be good in most cases. Imagine what you can do when you get your mind out of the way.
