Thanks for the update.

I'm not management, just a scribbler. And if you could read my writing I'm sure the next-in-line won't have any problems either.

I've sent a PM to LexieS, who seems to be the next person on the list. I just checked and she last logged onto the board was October 12th, so I'm not sure if she's still active here. Also have sent a PM to Royal Pen, in case he has a master list with the 'send' order.

Is anyone in contact with Lexie? I suppose if she's dropped off the board for good, the pen will go to the next person on the list.

Evening, Treecat. I have heard nothing from LexieS. Sounds to me like it is time to skip over and send it to the next person on the list.

I've sent a PM to Vivitar83. Royal Pen asked for addresses from people as they signed up. I've sent a PM to him as well. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Last I heard from LexieS she had just had a baby and was taking it easy and cutting back on writing and such. I hope she is okay, as I have heard nothing from her since.

The Traveling Journal arrived safe and sound on the Left Coast in this afternoon's mail.

Thank you, Treecat, for your contributions and for the quick shipping.

Time to get to work.

Who are the current participants? I'd love to be on the list, may have mentioned that before, but am not sure if I actually made it to the list :)

journaling / tinkering with pens / sailing / photography / software development

This looks really fun! Did I miss the boat? Or is there still room for me in the book?

Edited because I can't spell at three in the morning O.o

To those inquiring about getting on the list, as I remember The Royal Pen began the project and assembled the original list. [Yup, I checked: page 1, post 1]

You might contact TRP directly.

At times the Book has become "independent", with writers taking it upon themselves to send it on to another person on the list.

Sightings of the book occur on occasion, spontaneously. Kind of the charm of a project echoing the "olden days" when posting meant putting something into the mail, not writing on a computer.

I would like to jump on board please and thank you. Do I PM someone my mailing address or wait to be contacted?

I suggest you PM The Royal Pen; he started the whole thing and is the keeper/updater of the List. See post #127.

Any news on this? I hate to see the original journal lost.

Hi -- where do things stand with this project? It sounded like wonderful fun to this latecomer.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
