FPN Ink Ordering Information

Admin

Recommended Posts

The FPN ink only comes in three colors all from Noodlers and forumlated specifically for us:

FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown

FPN Dumas Tulipe Noire

FPN Van Gogh Starry Night Blue

I believe you can find reviews for each of these inks over in the ink reviews forum. They should all be available when the store opens, the only question is the sizes of bottles available.

Thanks for the info! I'll take a look.

As my DI once said, "Outstanding!" Which is kind of funny, because NOTHING was ever good enough for him. Drill Instructors, go figger...

"If you show us a drunk blonde chick in her underwear, she has to die. That's just how we roll." - I wish I knew who to attribute that to. T'weren't me.

Ain't great, but it's the best I've got. So far.

More than a month has passed but yet there is still lacking information on this board regarding these 3 specially made FPN inks from Noodler's. Are these only available in 3 oz. bottles or are some available in 4.5 oz. bottles? Also what are the prices for these inks? Is shipping additional or included if shipped within the United States? also WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE ?? (If this was a brick and Mortar storefront, I maybe would buy once but be constantly looking for the store closing signs.)

Unfortunately we are very, very busy right now with the FPN LE Pens, and that takes up so much time we haven't been able to finalize the new store yet.

We will make an offical announcement when all is set up.

See post #70

Wim should be nominated for Sainthood, or at least Knighthood for all the effort he puts in to FPN.

I know WimG is a busy man dealing with the special pen orders - but a maybe hint would be nice.

A hint: probably before the end of the month. We do have ink in stock, but need to set up the new ink store first. Hopefully this can be finalised two weeks from now, time permiting.

I'd like to buy all 3 colors. Hopefully there are 3oz bottles of each... 4.5oz is a little big.

And I'd like to get 4.5 oz. I figure that the difference in price isn't usually that steep and if you really like the color, it might be a very long time before it's available again :-)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
