I found this danish made MB 30 in a local add, a bit of cleaning and a new sac and it is ready for use again.

Thank you very much both.

It´s somewhat larger than the 25, the girth is about the same as a modern 146.

And the nib is a size 6 nib.

Lovely, yours is the tan one it seems, mine is actually the cognac a bit more reddish with a black and grey lining, which doesn't show on the pic. The leather is awesome :)

How is the paper in yours? mine feathers a bit and has a lot of bleed through except with the Pilot 78G Fine nib which is extra fine. I ordered a seven seas tomoe river journal which is almost the same size.

Hmm, it is interesting to know that the colors are different.

I haven't written anything yet because I haven't come up with a use for this new refill. I had my old refill in there and works fine. I do not experience much bleed in my old one. I have used various 146 based pens and 149's from F to BB nibs with Mb mystery black, irish green, and royal blue. I will update you when I start using the new refill.

I am a big fan of the push knob fillers. They are not easy to find however.

My latest MB purchase is this nicely used Mont Blanc Le Grand 146 with a Broad nib. I am trying to learn to write with that nib with very little success until now.:-(

I think it is not meant for a daily jotter, for sure needs a steady hand with a nice handwriting style to show out its performance.

Many have probably perished in time.

Congrats on your acquisition, like you said B or BB need lots of paper.

This is closer to the actual color
The A5 notebook with tomoe river paper got here today, it's about 1cm too narrow or 3/8" and since the cover is the same size of the paper it moves around in the MB notebook holder. I might just glue a bigger cardboard to it so it doesn't move around and is a bit more on center in the holder.

Just bought this on Sunday. Waiting for arrival. Deciding if I want to swap to a B.

Yes, the diamond is not for everyone, maybe including me. I can always swap it out for a plain clip though. Thank goodness they gave that option.

I liked this better than the older two tone solitaires and the MOP star is hard not to fall in love with.

Congratulations, it is a great pen. I bought one a few weeks ago. I love the MOP emblem. I also like the diamond in the clip as it is rather understated.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
