What other Pen brands do MB enthusiasts enjoy?

Another of my poor attempts at humor.

Can't say enough good things about Aurora nibs!

That's because you are inexperienced with nibs. No comment on the other nib comments you might receive.

Why would you draw that conclusion? He is experienced at least with Montegrappa, Visconti, Pelikan, Conway Stewart and Conklin -- on all of which he has adjusted nibs for me at some point.

Hard times don't last, but hard people do.

Thank a Veteran.

Here are my favorite writers and daily users, always inked and ready to go.

...

3. Pelikan 1931 Toledo LE with a stock M nib

4. Pelikan 1935 Lapis LE with a M nib smoothed by Deb Kinney (thanks to David G)

5. Pelikan 1931 White Gold LE alternating between a stock F and another Minuskin stub (thanks to Dov Randel)

6. Pelikan 1931 Yellow Gold LE with a F nib tweaked by Sean Gosse at penrx.ca

7. Montblanc Agatha Christie LE with a crisp OM nib by John Mottishaw

8. Montblanc Wilde LE with a M nib smoothed and tweaked by Sean

...

Woow, I cannot believe how tiny the Pelikan Originals of Their Time pens look next to the MB Christie and Wilde WEs!

Or else I've been living over here for too long and my radar has been switched to Wienerisch mode.

Speaking of Aurora, I just got notification that my third vintage Aurora has shipped! :bunny01: :bunny01:

I really liked the Aurora I used to have. Someone decided they liked it better than me though. I'm thinking vintage Aurora's have some competition with my other highly liked pen brand.

Yes indeed! Celluloid frame, a little flex, piston filler ... sound familiar? :puddle:

Yes indeed they are smaller. They're actually the perfect size and weight if you ask me. And wait till you get that 1935 Lapis you are looking for... it will strike you like lighting :yikes: and will make you change your mind about the oily and libidinous celluloid :P
