Nice paper. I'm a fan of ARC paper myself :)

I've been amazed at how well it does with MB ink considering it is relatively inexpensive.

Pen for today:

Meisterstück 144 Solitaire Doue Ag 925 Silver Fountain Pen - fine nib MB ink...

(yes I know the paper is terrible for ink - but hey - our made in china company issue notebooks are what they are)...

Cheers!

I carry these with me daily. http://i1347.photobucket.com/albums/p703/grizdoc/cf8bbf10-4e04-4cab-a72a-c7d92179d572_zpskg3fzhlf.jpghttp://i1347.photobucket.com/albums/p703/grizdoc/1833d1b6-0248-48ff-b3f1-e7ce64f9a6a4_zpshsi9ydzx.jpg

There are others to chose from, they are just stored elsewhere.

my latest ebay purchase... a $5usd ring display stand, which makes a nice pen rest for my desk :)

This will hopefully be me this afternoon! I've joined the 234 1/2 club. Mine is sitting at my post office.

Enjoy! The nib is amazingly flexible, even more so than a 1912, almost noodle like! Mine easily varies lines from a fine to an almost BB, I really enjoy the pen. It's my next best thing until a 13x is acquired.

Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.

My long lost twin! I thought I was the only one still hoarding so much film in the freezer (since the early 2000s). But digital gear has come a long way since then, and I finally converted a while ago. I'm planning to reclaim the freezer space, but I have no idea what to do with the film.

...random aside - I still have some 30 rolls of unused, long-expired Kodachrome 64 film (35mm). They have been frozen since 2009. No idea why I have held on to them for this long, but I guess I'm hoping for a miracle. I too have never developed colour film but I still d&p my B&W to this day. As a passion, of course.

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
