Hello, I'm a new guy on this forum. I use a Classique Rollerball and a Meisterstuck144 with a medium nib.

I'm using a cell phone camera. Sorry for the blurry photos.

Got 2 MB 149 filled up for today. One with a medium nib, the other with a medium-fine nib, both pens had their nibs smoothened and adjusted by John Mottishaw.

Running a fill of ink through my old, trusty 12. Wanted tomake sure it is working fine before selling it off to another user. Still to thin for me to fall in love with.

It's been a while since I posted something on this forum... but don't worry, have been using fountain pens regularly!

The past few weeks I've used three 149s:

One F nib (18K tri-tone nib, late plastic feed, brass threads, 2-piece section), with Private Reserve Dakota Red -- very good for adding notes to printed documents.

One M nib (14K two-tone nib, split ebonite feed, brass threads, 2-piece section) with MB Permanent Grey -- this is a very nice combination; I truly enjoy writing with it!

One B nib (75 year special edition) with Iroshizuku Asa-gao ink -- nice stubbish broad nib, can do a decent bit of italic writing with it.

I would use the Leonardo ink or Ancient Copper if I had that pen. Maybe Lavender Purple or Carlo Collodi too

I would like to have the Leonardo ink unfortunately I have not.

I found Diamine Ancient Copper to be a very close substitute for Leo. That's why I got it, as my Leo started to run down past the ½ mark.

Really nice. I will first time ink mine in the coming days I think with Shakespeare velvet red. What is the ink you use with your Leonardo? Nice bottle!

I use Diamine 150 yr Anniversary Terracotta. I've found it to be a closer match to the limited edition MB Leonardo original as opposed to Ancient Copper.

I've been using my WE Shakespeare today.

I handed it to a friend - who has a few FPs of his own. I told him it was a screw cap - so he duly unscrewed the piston, and before I could say anything uncrewed the cap...

Exit one inked friend to get cleaned up.

Fortunately it was MB's Royal Blue which washed out fine. Thing is, I thought to myself, "Should I hand it to him uncapped (it doesn't post)?"

Looks like I picked the wrong answer.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
