I have the 2-slot Bohème Pen Pouch and the pen loops inside the case are not leather. The inner fabric has the "MONT BLANC" logo.

I'm sure mine is authentic.

Thanks Ghost, but I got the answer I was looking for anyway—thanks Josefa.

 

A further follow up, I was able to have a discussion with an extremely helpful girl named Jessica from the MontBlanc store in Toronto Canada. She happened to have a case there, and also confirmed that same material on an authentic case.

 

This really surprised and disappointed me in a way. These pen cases empty are $175 from MontBlanc. Add a set of pens, and it's at least a $1500 package, and the business end of the cases appear to be made of vinyl fabric faux leather. This might be some wonder nylon with a five-syllable scientific name with a full story at MB headquarters about how and why it was specially developed to out-perform leather for 75 years, but I kind of doubt it.

 

Glad it's "authentic" however—I'm just not so certain that in this case it would matter : )
