Yes, it's another fake on the bay (Kafka)

Came across this today. I'm no expert, so luckily this fake is particularly obvious and even I could spot it.

I have reported it to ebay, so hopefully they will take care of it. Not sure why I'm telling you all really, just in case there was a noob out there who might have bid on it I suppose.

If this post is inappropriate or just plain annoying (you could probably spend all day and night discussing fake Mont Blanc pens), I would say to the moderators to do with it as they will.

That nib just kind of screams at you, doesn't it?

...and the black star on the inner box never lies...

... and "WRINING IN STRUMENTS" on the leaflet speaks for itself too ...

Since it's a private bid, I would bet my money that it's a shill...

Where's the beautiful translucent red resin? The oh so gorgeous roach on the nib? Tut tut... No serious collector could possibly get sucked in after seeing these pictures. The packaging is also very sketchy for Writers Edition LE.

It is not a fake, it is a real Kafka that went through a metamorphosis into a Bock nibbed, cheap plastic, misprinted book, black star pen, thats all!

True. Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side.
