Hey all admirers/collectors/users of Sterling Silver Pens.

Lets make a list of FP's made in Sterling Silver that you know of.

Not Silver Plated but made from Sterling Silver.

I can start with two that I have.....

Yard O Led Pocket Barley

Othello by Laban

It can be much better if pics can be added.

And let's not forget the Namiki Sterling series. I have the Geisha. They all have the wonderful Namiki inlaid nibs, are wide in girth, and have a heft and balance that really feel wonderful in the hand. There are at least 8 in the series, but I don't remember them all. There is a hawk and an owl and a dragon that I recall.

In addition to some of the ones already listed above, I have:

Conway Stewart Icon

Conway Stewart Drake

Parker Sonnet (silver plate)

Sheaffer Legacy Sterling w/ gold trim

Sheaffer Legacy Sterling w/ platinum trim

Sheaffer Legacy Victorian

Waterman L'Etalon

Silver pens that I would like to own include:

Waterman Man 100 (with silver ends, not black plastic ends)

Dupont Orpheo (the older model that has been out of production for several years)

Waterman Edson

Waterman Exception (the earlier large version, not the current slim version)

Classic Pens models based on Sheaffer Legacy, Sailor 80, Aurora 88, and Pelikan M800 and M1000

Does anyone own the Krone silver pen? It looks nice in the FPH 2008 catalog....

Adrian Collins: I love your trio of daily users.... a conservative black oversized German piston filler, a brightly-colored oversized Italian that can be either an eyedropper or a c/c filler, and a sterling silver oversized pen that is unmistakenly British. If you ever add a fourth pen to that group, it will need to be a Sailor King of Pen or a Danitrio Mikado to keep with your theme of oversized-but-not-similar pens.

All the sterling silver pens from my collection are shown below. The Sonnet and the CP1 are currently inked, and the Grifos is in line waiting for one of the other pens to go dry so it can have a turn.

My sterling pens are:

Onoto Magna Centenary

Krone Sterling Silver

Waterman Edson Sterling

Waterman Exception Sterling

Classic Pens CP5 (Parker Duofold) Modern and Vintage

Montblanc 146 Sterling

Sheaffer Legacy Sterling

Conway Stewart Drake

and, soon, to arrive, the Conway Stewart Evolution!

Other sterling pens of note include the Aurora Optima Sterling Riflessi, the Sailor 1911 Sterling, the Visconti Metropolis Sterling and the Yard-o-Led Viceroy Grand. Various other pens come in sterling silver, some more attractive than others. Silver is a very popular metal for pens makers.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
