Does anyone have both Waterman's South Sea Blue and Inspired Blue?

If so would you please post both swabs and writing with a med + nib?

Thank you in advance,

Cindy

ETA I am trying to see them side by side.

I do believe they are the exact same ink though. I think they just renamed it.

This is mine for South Sea Blue. I was told my Waterman that they simply renamed the ink.

Hakase real sepia ink. There are 2 versions of it, one for 6,000 yen which is for fountain pens and the other for 7,000 yen which is for brushes etc. (not sure). I'd like the fountain pen ink reviewed since i intend to buy it when i place the order for Hakase. I know it's a steep task to even get this ink let alone review it. There are 2-3 threads for it in the forums but i don't think any of them can be classified as reviews. Thanks in advance.

Also, if possible, please include some text written with various nib types (EF, F, M, B, BB, Stub).

I think that reviewer may be you????

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Review requests:

More of the Louis Vuitton inks--I think only Bleu Rêveur and Brun Tenebreaux have been reviewed.

The very interesting inks (and papers) from Hieronymus--Blue 01 and Green 01 have been reviewed.

Anderson Badger Black.

The Anderson line seems very good value for money to me and my first sample experience with Badger Black is quite good as a standard. However, my breadth of experience is limited so I am asking FPNers to share their inputs.

Sometimes I think I can taste the colors of the ink through my eyes. That Emerald.....

Sorry, if it has been reviewed (if so please link! :) )

I'm looking for bungbox piano mahogany but couldn't find it anywhere?

I'll post an example after work today if there's still good lighting outside (sun sets at 4:45 PM!). If not, tomorrow.

Messaged you some images of BB Piano Mahogany. : )

I want to ask advice. I have some ink blends - dye based and pigment based. If somebody can test/review them on different pens and papers in right way? As i has no such pen collection or a great experience in this area. I will send samples for free, but main condition for this - experienced user/member at FPN and post here on FPN or elsewhere public conclusion with review. Samples are non branded, just color names on them. They are RGB + CMYK + DILUTOR - so total 8 vials/items for dye and the same quantity for pigment based. Or if this is a wrong thread - tell me, where i can post this idea? Thank in advance.

Has anyone had any experience with the Thornton's Luxury Goods Fountain Pen Ink? I found a number of colours available. The cost is quite affordable too.

I'd really like to see some reviews of J. Herbin 1670 Emerald de Chivor.

Every 1670 ink except that one has been covered on FPN.

Thanks!

I think they are just not in the index yet.

I'll selfishly link mine, but there are some others as well!

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
