An excellent writing ink – wet and saturated with nice shading. I like it best with the finer nibs. There is also a pretty golden sheen on places with high saturation.

Writing samples on papers good and bad

 

Written with Lamy Safari M-nib. The bleed-through test is done as follows: 1x, 2x and 3x fill of the squares from left to right, to get increasing saturation of the paper. Beware that on the reverse side, the most saturated square appears on the left.

The color reminds me of the frozen Welch's grape juice I drank as a kid. That juice also stained ... a lot.

Oooh.  This looks like a nice color!  (Not, of course that I really need Yet Another™ purple ink.... )

Of course, I'm also now wondering how it would look in a side-by-side with the MB Beatles homage ink....

Wonderful!  Thanks, @namrehsnoom!  I love these bright inks.  Too bad it stains (though not surprising).  I love your drummer doodle.

Clearly the feed was more saturated when writing on Midori!  Or it was a wetter pen!  Or something.   ⚔️ But look how it halos on Iroful!    And the shading!

I wonder if it's changed color, or if it varies in different parts of the world.  Welch's grape juice is bluer (still purple, but bluer) than this ink (or the stuff I sometimes buy is).  Pro tip (learned in my teens sometime, to the amusement of my parents): don't drink grape (or any fruit) juice immediately after brushing your teeth - holy nasty sour face, Batman!

Or don't have frozen blueberries before brushing your teeth. It'll take you sometime, plus your gums and teeth will become blue.

Well, it was in the US but circa 50 years ago! Sold as a frozen concentrate and almost certainly artificial coloring, I suppose. Perhaps, even, no grapes were required to suffer in its production. 🤔
