INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO.6: Granny

Miniature: Cat & Mouse were frightened in front of the forest, was it here that the Red Riding Hood's Grandma was eaten by the big bad wolf? Or was it the bad granny witch that nearly ate Hansell and Gretel?

Very evocative!  The ink was a good choice for this!

Awwwww!  That's so cute!

Does Mouse think of "granny cat" as his granny?

This prompt felt like coming full circle to one of my first pig/wolf drawings. https://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread.php/36206-2022-Inktober-52-One-sketch-per-week?p=382070&viewfull=1#post382070

06 granny

What if the Big Bad Wolf is a Little Old Wolf?

"Granny Wolf, what BIG eyes you have!" said little red hoodie Pig.
"Yes," said Granny Wolf. "My glasses are very thick."
"And what BIG teeth you have!"
"In a glass on the nightstand," sighed Granny Wolf.

---

"Granny Pig! What BIG tips you give!" said little blue hoodie Wolf.
"Five stars!" said Granny Pig. "I shall certainly order from Little Red Riding Food again!"

INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO.6: Trapped

In the chronicles of Cat & Mouse, our two heroes travelled back in time to the court of Louis XIV. Cat wore one of the Sun King's elaborate wigs and costume to take a selfie with Mouse. Soon the whole court was after them. They were nearly trapped before finding the portal. They couldn't help but shout "Vive la révolution," before disappearing into the present.

You are clearly having WAY too much fun with these!  And even better?  The rest of us get to enjoy them as well!  Thanks so much for doing these!

yazeh I love it when Cat and Mouse travel in time. :D 👍

I wonder where did they learn that habit? I should ask Dom.Lobo mestre do samovar. ;)

Another take:

NKTOBER52 PROMPT NO.6 Trapped

Each year on their anniversary, Mouse insisted on reenacting their first encounter.
“Oh, Kitty, I’m trapped in the clutches of this mean tulip , save me!” she cried dramatically.

All Cat could think was, “Shall I tell her I was trying to catch her scarf, not her?”

Yes, what Ruth said.  I don't say so often enough, but I look at every post in this thread and very much appreciate your sharing your talents with us!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
