I'm looking for some Indian made fountain pens that post comfortably.

Good evening, everyone.

As the title suggests, I'm looking for some Indian made fountain pens with ebonite feeds that post well.

The reason being, is I use them for sketching outdoors. I find it more convenient to use a pen that posts.

My requirements are #5 or #6 nibs and ebonite feeds. I wish for it to post deeply, securely and not back-weighted. I'm tempted by some Woodex pens but not sure which ones post well. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Woodex skyline posted quite well because it had a very nice taper like an actual skyline. It was good. Came with a #8 ricoh nib. I think a 35mm Kanwrite can also be opted for. Shouldn't be a problem. This was my best posted model woodex for me.

Also there was a twin pocket pen which gave a good length when posted. But posting was not all too secure. Please look at their catalogue. IAM unable to recollect model numbers. They do have some shorter pens that would be good for purposes mentioned by you

Woww. That's a beautiful looking pen. Will add it to my consideration. Thank you for the photo. Both the pens contrasting each other looks very cool.

ASA Maya if you can find one.  The ASA site is down at present but I read here that Mr Subbu was at the Chennai pen show.  I don't use so  called social media but I believe there is an ASA FB and Instagram page.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      >Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color,<   I'm sure they were, and my answer assumes that. It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
