The love affair with Wingsung 601s continues...

I recently picked up some extra nibs for my 601s and have started playing around with grinds. Here is a cursive italic. It needs a little love and it has a tiny sweet spot, but I'm enjoying the experience!

Yep, glad you discovered the 601!! I gave away two and have a "flighter" now.

I have two demonstrators, two double jewel (black and blue) and two flighters (GT and CT)

love all of them. great pens.

My favorite version (so far) is my "clear fighter" with a 14k EF nib. The weight and balance are perfect and the nib is more of a gently-use pencil instead of of the typical freshly sharpened feel.Cost about $90 to Frankenpen together so I don't know if I'd swing for another gold nib but I do love it.

I bought one of those 3 packs of nibs back in 2019 or so, put the biggest/most bent one on my daily carry (demonstrator), its great.

bought one of the old school pre-piston vac back ends with the diaphragm and put that in the other demonstrator, just cause. I mean, ill never own a demonstrator "51"... may as well get as close as I can
