The Copenhagen Collection at PBA Galleries: Dozens of Namiki and Other Japanese Lacquer Pens at auction

Hi all,

 

Many of you may remember me from my years as Bonhams' Director of Fine Writing Instruments. For the past six years, I've been Director of Fine Pens, Watches and Comics for PBA Galleries Auctioneers in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's my dream job, and I'll be glad to help any of you with pens (or watches and comic books) that you'd like to sell! My current pen auction is online now, and takes place on Thursday, June 6th. Dubbed "The Copenhagen Collection of Fine Japanese Lacquer Pens," the sale showcases a wonderful collection of maki-e pens by Namiki, Platinum, Yotsubishi and other makers, both modern and vintage. The sale also includes a handful of vintage pens (including a beautiful "Pregnant Parker"), and a few nice modern pens (including two Montblanc Artisan Editions).
