When Diamine is $8 a bottle I'm not going to be buying ink at that price, no matter what the color.

Well, I got my sample corals from Goulet, and tried them out, and the winner at the moment is .... Diamine Pink! Which is a coral-inflected pink that so far is very well behaved and legible.  Herbin Corail des Tropiques is the winner for the truly coral.  A bit light for writing but an irresistable delicate color, Sailor Manyo Sakura. And again not what I was looking for but I have to have it, Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki.
