I don't have much in the way of blue pens but in the past couple of days I used these:

Asvine C80

The ubiquitous Wing Sung-Yongsheng 699.  Who doesn't have a 699?

I don't have a 699...yet. Beautiful pen!

Looking to buy a Delta Chatterley Stantuffo Fusion Star Cage.

There’s a 699 in the first post of this thread, lol.  Great pen, a bargain for $70 with a 14k fine nib.  It’s been a long time since it’s been used, next rotation I’ll remember to use it.

The C80 is also super pretty, @USG; what pens would you compare it to in terms of size? I really want to try the stub but am afraid that it might be too big.

Top 5 (in no particular order) of 20 currently inked pens:

Sheaffer 100 Satin Blue M, Pelikan Moonstone/holographic mica

Brute Force Designs Pequeño Ultraflex EF, Journalize Horsehead Nebula

Pilot Custom 743 <FA>, Oblation Sitka Spruce

Pilot Elite Ciselé <F>, Colorverse Dokdo

Platinum PKB 2000, Platinum Cyclamen Pink

@Baka1969, what is the lever next to the Esterbrook, the first pen on the left?  Your blues are all so pretty! I love the marbling of the Starwalker. It’s funny, I didn’t think I would like Starwalker line, but then my husband bought me one and I actually loved the way it wrote, the feel of it in my hand, and the screw to post.

Thanks! That Starwalker Cool Blue looks amazing in person under bright lights. It writes pretty nicely to boot.

That pen on the left of the Estie is an Osmiroid. The ones that make the nibs that fit a variety of vintage pens. Including the Esterbrook J/B series. I l also have a black one. I plan on polishing them up as they have been well used. The Blue Estie needs a new sac. Which is on the way. Thanks Brian! I have a copper J that also needs a new sac.

Every time you mention that gold nibbed 699 I want one....

The C80 is the same size as a Jinhao X159.

I'll keep on saying, it looks amazing in person. Some years back I had a Ulysse Nardin Sam Marco wristwatch in enamel blue. It looked like it was 100 meters deep. It was incredible. The Starwalker Cool Blue is very similar. I wish I had that UN again. The two would pair very well together.

None of these were my actual watch. They are shamelessly stolen from the internet. Mine was on the bracelet. The enameling was painstakingly crafted by hand.

Happened across this thread after snapping a pic of some of my blue pens just a few days ago. From left: London Pen Co. Christopher 14 in an acrylic called Arctic; Opus 88 Koloro; the new Kaweco AL Sport piston filler in navy.

What a beautiful watch, @Baka1969! My dad was a watch collector, he would have loved that (I stick to pens because watches die when I wear them). His EDC was a steel Datejust with a blue face, and when we were on the boat, a 1960s era diver’s watch that he would let me spin the number thing on the outside (can you tell that I know nothing).

@Brian S., your blue pens are beautiful, I have been eyeing that Kaweco, and the Arctic resin is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve also been warming up to the idea of an Opus 88 of some sort, and that blue, plus the combination of demonstrator and solid color is really eye catching.

Today's addition to my blue pen family:

And a photo that shows its color more accurately, along with the red version of the Custom 845 Urushi:

@Penguincollector Lol! Trust me, you don't want to go down the watch rabbit hole. I've been collecting watches since the 1980s. You're better off being blissfully unaware.

I'm a fan of the Opus 88. I have the beige/turquoise version with the stub nib. I like your color way.

They are safe from me; in my jewelry box cemetery lies a Hamilton, Patek Phillipe, Omega, Piaget, and Fendi. All casualties of whatever it is that makes me kill watches.

You Killed a Patek? What in heaven's hell happened to that? Is it mechanical/auto? Which model? Let's not forget the Omega! I've had three Pateks and many numerous Omegas. I would be completely freaked out if I broke one. Okay, I did break a vintage Omega Connie. I snapped a lug off by dropping it. I've also had lots of Hammies. All of which have survived my wrath. I am saddened for you. :(
