This a particularly brilliant deal for two reasons: 1) its a medium nib that is rarely ever priced this low (my previous $80 21k Sailor finds were MF or finer) and 2) since its in Japanese, it does not show up in a traditional Amazon search  (e.g., fountain pen 21k), which probably accounts for the deeply discounted price.  I have bought from this seller several times before with no problems, even though his/her feedback rating seems low.  Free returns too, which I have used in the past.

Not to pen able you more but these 3776s is at a similar price of $87 the price changes due to the nib size and color tho but all around $100. 

tempting for me but its still hard for me to spend close to $100 on a pen. I have tried the pen before and do like the bounce of the nib in particular. I better not rant on too long...

I actually don't like the 3776 as much. Mostly how then end of section by the nib scratches on my fingers. I do have one with a music nib I don't really ever use unless it's a special need. I do like the Platinum nibs used on Nakaya pens so maybe someday I will get another 3776 or a discontinued President.

Since I like black, I too like the Sailor 21k large better than the 14k 3776.
