Parker 45

Hi All

I recently acquired, what I believe is, a Parker 45 ballpoint pen amongst a mixed bundle of pens on eBay .

I haven’t come across a Parker 45 with this pattern before, and was wondering if any one in this august forum

can provide me with a production time line or indeed any history on this design.

Hello, reminds me of the Harlequin pattern. I also have some 45's that I can't find references to manufacturing dates or official names. It seems to be common not to have information for some 45.
Here's a link with a brief reference about the pens.

P.s: The pattern resembles the symbol of the motorcycle company BIMOTA
Best Regards

Hello Cack Handed.
In the photo below is a set of 45, made in Brazil, around the 70's. I didn't find any documentation about them either.
The best thing is to always be attentive to take advantage of any information that appears and especially to take advantage of your 45, they are great pens.
Best Regards.

  • 4 months later...

it looks too specific as a pattern of decoration not just for Parker but most other pen companies so I am inclined to think it´s some type of corporate logo.
