Cleaned a blue Waterman L'Etalon and a green Sheaffer Statesman snorkel.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Not any yet. I have way too many that need it. (~2 dozen)

Conway Stewart broad nib Duro.  It's provided three months service and has earned a rest.  An Onoto Excel with a broad nib that leaves a much wider line has taken its place on my desk.

MontBlanc Bohème Noir F, MB Midnight Blue

It's funny, but the ONLY 75 I was remotely interested in was a Ciselé, after seeing one at an estate sale but didn't buy because I didn't know enough about the model at the time to know if the asking price was reasonable (turned out it probably was).  So I spent the next six months educating myself about those and going "Okay, you've got three different ones at your table -- why are they priced differently?"  And then got MASSIVELY outbid on one with an F nib on the Bay of Evil but then got one that NOBODY was apparently watching but ME with a B nib a week or so later (go figure).  And got THAT one for the opening bid, plus tax and shipping, and I waited till about the last hour to even start at the minimum -- a later model with the dished tassie, but who cares?  Not me!  I'm not a c-worder....

It writes GREAT -- but really likes the MB Jimi Hendrix LE ink which was EXPENSIVE and now basically "unobtanium".... :wallbash:

Didn't clean either out.

A good decade ago, I won a section less Thyua on ebay. they guy sent the whole pen, but refused to sell me the section...so I shipped it back to him.

Last yer I got the FP+BP from a widow, I knew from work.

The BP is the same color as the FP....OB. I did clean it out this year.

I cleaned out my XXF Morison short-long today.  It was inked since late last year or early this year. I wrote with it regularly, but it’s so narrow that it takes forever to get through a cartridge.

Only 30 still inked.....and 11 in the to clean cup...that was empty 10-12 days ago...and I had a dream...waking of course:rolleyes:, of cleaning pens during the weekend....sigh cubed...got to that. I dug out four of my Purple inks.

Other inks are sitting there out, on the book shelves...alarmingly ticking.

Just because one thinks a pen is clean, don't make it so.

I inked a 'clean' Pelikan 481 M with  Diamine Ultra Green, and thought it a good shading ink, sort of murky, like Vert Empire..........then over the course of a couple days of occasional note taking, the ink changed to a brighter even better shading ink....and suddenly I can see why that ink was raved about.

I like green inks...so the plan is to re-ink with Ultra Green when it runs out.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
