Hallo  Carola

Beautiful pen, congratulations. In fact, only Soennecken 111 and 222 were equipped with the click mechanism. The mechanism is located inside the blind cap and features two detents to prevent the blind cap from being turned accidentally. It’s a nice little extra, but not really necessary.

Here is a picture of my newest 222 EXTRA:

That’s absolutely gorgeous.

Picked up a Mottled Red Hard Rubber Conway Stewart off of eBay.   The imprint is barely there but you can see Conway Stewart.  Not sure on the specific model but it’s chunky.

The pattern is beautiful and rich.    The nib is unlike any Conway Stewart nib I’ve experience.  I’ve never used a true wet noodle but I’m guessing they are like this.  Effortless and unintentional flex!

Love the comparison to the Asvine J16 red river ebonite.  image.thumb.jpg.fe49418cbdde0c184bd588aa6d82ea56.jpgimage.thumb.jpg.1e5375a25d443fb62b30f4754a46ccad.jpg

Wow, the amount of beautiful pens that have been shown here in the last week or so has been amazing to see. I can’t address every one individually, but honestly I am happy to see them and witness everyone’s new pen excitement.

Top 5 (in no particular order) of 30 currently inked pens:

Parker Duofold Centennial IM, RO Rose Gold Antiqua

Parker Duofold Lady needlepoint, MB Cool Grey

Pelikan M800 needlepoint, Kuretake Shikon

Platinum PKB 2000, Platinum Cyclamen Pink

Waterman 52 EF, Herbin Bleu Pervenche

Today my Scribo Flow Forma arrived, joining the Dimensiona that arrived a couple of weeks ago. Both are ebonite with 24 facets. The Forma is in ochre ebonite, and is darker in person than in photos...

The Lorelei 667 pen in blue (with green) arrived today. I’m not sure what ink to put in it first.

If you want to match one of the colours there are quite a few in it too choose from and any would look good. The last ink I put in mine was the Montblanc Vincent, which is teal..ish.

Will work for pens...

I have a sample of Pelikan Edelstein Aquamarine I might will use. I was thinking of a blue green ink or a green blue ink. I have Sailor Yama Dori, but I’ve used it in other pens. I have J Herbin Vert Reseda, which I wasn’t sure about liking it.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
