@Penguincollector, when you have time, I'd love to hear how that Parker T1 writes for you.  And is that nib springy... or firm?  It's quite a handsome pen!

I think it can be either. I adjusted the nib so that it’s in the middle, as I heard that having it screwed too tightly can crack the feed, and that sometimes the tipping can come apart from the rest of the nib. It writes nicely, it’s its own thing, not springy like gold, or stiff like some more modern nib. It feels like the Myu, to be honest- maybe a touch softer.

That's great. I've only ever seen an integrated nib like that on a Pilot Murex, but I love the look. I hope you enjoy!

Thanks! It’s been a really nice writing experience so far. It’s very similar to my Pilot Myu, more so than it is to the Parker 50. I don’t have the Murex or the Volex yet, but they’re both on the list.

Interesting.  I wasn't familiar with this model.  Apparently they weren't made for very long, because of the difficulty in getting the right thickness of the titanium.

Let us know how you like the screw adjustment, and maybe show us writing samples at the different settings as well.

And I have a Murex but not a Myu… and what is this “Volex” of which you speak? [checks google] how did I miss the existence of this until now? :headsmack:

I think they might be the less expensive version of the Pilot pens in that family, but they are mentioned less than the others.

Once I get a feel for the pen, I’ll share some findings in the Parker forum.

I’m taking a bit of a buying break, so I went out with a bang: here’s my new to me Parker T1 F/M. I really just want to take the time to get to know some of my newer pens better, and I realized that I have such a backlog of new items that I’ve not been giving things the attention they deserve.

My T-1 arrived in this blue velvet box- I don’t know if it’s the correct box for the pen, sometimes my dealer will send pens in a box, sometimes not. I haven’t looked for a catalog or sales ad yet.

Here’s that famous integrated nib:

Congratulations. A unique pen with history and in perfect shape,

A dozen more Masmarcu ‘Profuture Lab’ FP0029 fountain pens; nine Platinum Little Meteor 2025 version fountain pens with opaque, matt, textured bodies and debossed branding; five Platinum Little Meteor with (very slightly) glittery caps and frosted, translucent, textured barrels and debossed branding; and a Platinum Plaisir 10th Anniversary limited edition ‘Night Blue‘ (to complete that collection alongside ‘Night Grey’ and ’Night Pink’ I already have).

Got this Waterman - finally - that wandered around so long in the postal system that I had given it up for lost. It looked pretty clean, with minor traces of blue ink, so I did my quick-flush method and filled the cheap-o converter (the type with the plunger-style piston) that it came with with Waterman South Seas (I know, I know), and voila!

If anyone who wanted a Winnie-The-Pooh pen lost out, Retro 51 now has a version called The House at Pooh Corner. I saw an email today announcing it. Another email from a pen seller called it House of Tigger.

I tried to resist, but when I saw most places were sold out that FOMO got me. So I just placed an order with Pen Boutique; they have a few left.

I looked at the House at Pooh Corner pen.  Then I looked at the price tag and decided that I didn't need it THAT much....

Especially since my husband has just ordered a motorized scooter for himself, to get around when up at the camping event for the other hobby....  And those things aren't cheap....

This lovely Delta Mapuche, circa 2010, arrived today from Chatterley.  My first pen purchase since January.

It wrote great straight from the box.  The accompanying blue ink is a treat as well.

I don’t normally think of myself as a two-pen-a-day kind of person, but today this Waterman Forum student pen and this 14k nibbed Sheaffer lever filler both arrived

Today, I have had a very nice Sheaffer PFM III in the mail, straight from Great Britain. Broad nib, green colour, gold trim, made in Australia. Filling system fully functioning.

I have pondered buying one for years, but there never seemed to be just the right pen coming up, but a few days ago, it suddenly did. I happened to stumble upon it on ebay, when the seller had only just listed it. We reached an agreement and there it is now, freshly inked up with Lamy Crystal Peridot, which happens to be a pretty nice colour match.

Here we go:

Not exactly the best pictures, sorry, but the best I could do right now.

Beautiful pen 'C'... When you get a chance, could you show a snorkel pic?
