Now I’m imagining an ink called “Besciamella…” maybe lightly nutmeg-scented… hard to read, but impossible to resist…

Now that is funny... Hard to read, but impossible to resist. How about a line of inks inspired by food? I'm thinking Raspberry Coulis, Chimichurri....

Looking to buy a Delta Chatterley Stantuffo Fusion Star Cage.

I think you’ve hit on the next annual theme for the International Pen Producers’ Cabal. 2025: Coffee! 2026: Sweet and Savory Sauces! I can’t wait for my LE Esterbrook Sriracha (bright brick-red acrylic with a white imprint and a green cap finial, naturally).

There's a line of glazes called Stroke and Coat that we use at the studio. They have catchy color names like "Teal Next Time," "Melon-choly," "Lettuce Alone...." Please share photos of your Esterbrook Sriracha!

Awwww! Ask them to make a line of "hot" pens with names like Tabasco, Cholula, Ghost Pepper, Scotch Bonnet.... What an array of colors that would be!

A Waterman (strictly speaking, I guess, a JiF-Waterman) Super-Cartouche in the "New Look" style, black and gold, ca. 1952, with a large glass cartridge, a pair of porthole-style ink windows, and a big no. 6 nib. 🔥, if I do say so myself.

Can we see photos with the nib and ink windows?

Sure! As I told @USG, I'm not sure it's smart to photograph the cartridge while it's filled, since the blind cap holds it in place in the section, but here are some pictures showing the nib and ink window. The nib really makes me want to write in cursive, which (as you can see) is not my usual mode these days; I also didn't really try to get flex out of it here, but it has some, which becomes more visible in fast writing, when you're not modulating pressure carefully.

I showed these in a Christmas topic I started. But here they are:

From left: Kaweco Sport Transparent, Kaweco Ice Sports Blue, Orange and Pink. These are discontinued pens. The two Preras are new colors. These are Honey Yellow and Empress Teal, given by my brother. The Pilot Bear is a gift from @AmandaW. She is a wonderful, generous, artistically talented and sweet person. This forum has shown me that we can become online friends through posts and PMs.

Similarly I showed these in the Christmas topic but I got Pelikan M800 triplets today. The Black/Green, Green demonstrator, and the Anthracite. Now I just have to figure out what to ink them with.

I have the same issue. I was trying to swap nibs with the teal Prera, and ink it with Sailor Yama Dori. I could not budge the nib. The Honey Yellow nib did come out. So it got the CM nib. But which ink for a yellow pen? I have Diamine Green Edition Three Kings. It seems to be readable. Or the complementary color would be violet or a purple ink.

I went with Visconti Purple for the Prera in Honey Yellow. Could be it is more a red leaning purple, and a blue leaning one might would be better. Still, it’s ink in the pen, and it writes.

I decided on Diamine Cool Green for the M800 Green demonstrator.

It used to be called 'Dark Green'. Diamine changed its name a few years back. Perhaps you know it by its original name. 🖋️
