I got this pen today

Waterman CF pens are very nice pens with many variants including solid gold. It is unfortunately that the cartridges and converters are not made any more.

I was lucky last year to get a CF set with an unopened pack of 8 cartridges plus a few other CFs I have came with empties to refill. I should be good for a very long time!

New nib for my Waterman Hemisphere. New section will not fit the old but the nib and feed are the same. This pen came with a corroded nib but with a replacement its back to working condition

thanks @Misfit I had purchased it a while ago and only just got around to dealing with the bad nib - the Hemisphere seems like it will make a decent daily writer for me, well..one of a few I take to the office!

The K600 Red White arrived today, it's lovely. Had ordered red gel refills (M), they also arrived today, complements the pen nicely. The FP should be here next week.

I received a Kaweco Sport Frosted Lime with BB nib today. I’m not sure what ink I’ll use yet. I put it on a Word Search puzzle book for the photo.

I got two pens in the mail today. I was lucky enough to shop with Levenger on a buy one pen, get one pen free day.

The top pen is my favorite of the two. It’s the Sapphire Mosaic. The bottom pen is Larimar blue, and has some whiter parts I’m not so fond of as seen on the barrel closest to the other pen.

That's a very expressive pen holder! Truly a work of art!

It's very heavy, as well, must weigh a pound.  Described as brass in listing, unsure if solid or plated. Wondering if I should use some brass polish on it on leave it as is.

I mean that as a sculptor myself; it's exquisitely modeled for a stationery item. Leave it.

It is very good looking. I would not polish it...

Yes, I suppose that's for the best. It's earned its patina.

My order from Atlas Stationers came today of an exclusive Delta Duna. I am really liking the sparkle in the material and its smooth writing. I think I'm going to enjoy it as much as my other two Delta pens.

@Driften that Delta is beautiful, and Atlas Stationers is a great store.

I agree and the last change and exclusive deals are good.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
