By the way, I was going to send just the pen, but it came in it's original vintage Parker case, and after some 60+ years sitting in this case it just felt wrong to separate them.  And by it's condition I think the pen sat in this case hardly used like a time capsule over the decades.  The case is scuffed a little on the top, but otherwise in good condition.  I don't think they make solid pen cases like this these days.  It looks like this started out as a pen and pencil set given the dual pen pen case configuration.  So will ship it along with the case.

Congrats ED333 From what I read Parker 51 are great vintage pens but I have not tried them yet.

Thanks to all for the good wishes, and I will certainly report back.  Meanwhile, I am reviewing my herd to select a PIF candidate for another drawing....gotta pay it forward, or at least pass it along!
