Woah, so that's how it's done. :eureka:

I was looking for two Lamy Z28 today too. The store didn't have any so I got a couple of gel pens...

@AmandaW I needed enough ink to get through the winter! 🤣

A pair of sealed and full vintage bottles I recently picked up.

WW2 Parker 'Micro-film Black', for V-Mail correspondence

and

Waterman's South Sea Blue, because I'm a sucker for fanciful ink names and artwork.

These both count as new and not replacement bottles because I've never used either one!

@Amberjack thank you for the photos. Seeing the box for South Sea Blue is so cool. I always liked the name too, and now seeing the inspiration of the image on the box is amazing. Very cool!

@Amberjack!  Interesting box for the vintage Quink (there was another thread I was reading last night where someone (was that you?) had a similar box, but I picked up a bottle of Microfilm Black a while back, where the top of the box is NOT mostly red, white and blue like yours -- it's completely black and with white lettering....

So now I'm wondering if that bottle is older or newer than yours....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

@Amberjack There were a few other, non-Waterman, bottles on ink in that shipment.

I appreciate and enjoy the fact that when I feel like I have enough pens...my ink shelf starts to look empty, and when I decide I have enough ink to last me for the rest of my life (and then some)...another fountain pen catches my eye...

Rinse...repeat...

The perfect hobby!

@Amberjack I also have enough inks for the rest of my life. Heck, I probably won't even get to trying some of them!

Pelikan 4001 Blue-black, because I needed one more item for free shipping and I’ve never tried it.

I've tried it just lately and (as an unseasoned ink user) I rather like it.

This ink was my jam in uni. I think it might be slightly different now, but it’s beautiful.

Top 5 (in no particular order) of 30 currently inked pens:

Parker Duofold Centennial IM, RO Rose Gold Antiqua

Parker Duofold Lady needlepoint, MB Cool Grey

Pelikan M800 needlepoint, Kuretake Shikon

Platinum PKB 2000, Platinum Cyclamen Pink

Waterman 52 EF, Herbin Bleu Pervenche

I was able to add Montblanc Olympic Heritage Red ink to my order, and will have both blue and red now.

Couldn't pass this one up for $59.36 on Amazon. I found it looking for Yosemite green and I didn't have any of these 10 yet.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
